Embarking on a hike to Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Corcovado Mountain offers a unique and rewarding experience. The trail begins at Parque Lage, leading adventurers through the lush Tijuca Forest. This journey culminates at the summit, where the majestic Christ the Redeemer statue stands, providing panoramic views of the city. The trail takes 3 hours to complete and is not suitable for small children. Price for the guide is 20€/pp. Alternatively, you can ride the thrilling funicular through Rio’s lush rainforest and climb to the clouds for a jaw-dropping view beneath the arms of Christ the Redeemer! Then, you will need to take the funicular at Cosme Velho station (20€/pp, to be paid on site directly). It's possible to go up hiking and down with the train (20€/pp, to be paid on site directly)
